Plagiarism is an academic offence, the most serious breach of credibility and accountability. This includes patchwork plagiarism. Contributors are required to submit their own original work, and where other persons’ intellectual property has been adopted, be it in the form of textual extracts online, blogposts, website content, photograph, diagram, formula, it should be duly and fully acknowledged and sometimes proof of owner’s consent may apply (especially in case of photographs or artwork). All papers are vetted prior to blind review processing for plagiarism of any kind with text matching-software programmes. Any work recognised as containing unacknowledged content lifted from elsewhere will be immediately returned and future submissions from the same author(s) will not be entertained.
