Tanzania Journal of Engineering and Technology (Tanz. J. Engrg. Technol.) publishes both print and online forms with ISSN 1821-536X (print) and ISSN 2619-8789 (electronic). The Journal presents broad interdisciplinary research findings on the practice and theory in engineering, technology, engineering management and applied and pure sciences. Tanz. J. Engrg. Technol. publishes and disseminates result and findings of research work conducted by engineers and scientists. The Journal includes refereed papers of original work, state of the art reviews, and articles of emerging areas that could stimulate new research, technology notes and letters to the editor.
The criterion for conclusion of any item the Journal is that it should be useful or interesting to the scientific and engineering community. The editorial policy of Tanz. J. Engrg. Technol. publication is not only to solicit for and publish appropriate materials, but also to ensure that the information is presented in a practical and convenient manner. The Journal accepts contributions from practicing engineers, consultants and academicians. Fields in Mechanical engineering include design and manufacturing, engineering materials and mechanics, textile engineering, production engineering and energy technology.
Articles from Electrical engineering and electronics should cover electrical power and machines, telecommunication, computer science and engineering, electronics and information technology. The Journal accepts paper from chemical and mining engineering fields including chemical and process engineering, metallurgy, mining engineering, mineral processing and gas and petroleum engineering. Applied and pure sciences include biotechnology and applied microbiology, chemistry, nuclear physics and agricultural engineering.
