Abstract

Message from the Chief Editor

This is to inform our readers and members of the general public that the African Review was one of the only two journals at the University of Dar es Salaam which, after rigorous evaluation, was recognised by the 332nd Senate of the University held on 26 July 2017 as an international journal. At the same time, the African Review was the second best journal during the 3rd University of Dar es Salaam Research Week held from 10 to 12 May 2017. Moreover, the journal has currently been accepted for indexing by the Sabinet in South Africa, Econbiz in Germany, and AfriBib in the Netherlands. We wish to express our sincere gratitude to our authors, reviewers, readers and members of the editorial board for their continued support to ensure the African Review maintains the highest scientific and academic standards.
